PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq said the corrupt elites were ruling the country and they wreaked havoc to the country while saying a huge economic crisis was currently underway.
He said the people had to face the burden of the worsening economic condition while saying institutions, instead of resolving their issues, were involved in blame game against each other.
Addressing a press conference in Peshawar, he said the poor were finding it hard to survive as the crisis showed no sign of improving while mentioning inflation was compounded by corruption.
He added the loss of State Owned Enterprises was increasing with every passing day and no one was willing to accept the responsibility while adding every year, millions of Pakistanis were added to the poverty list every year. Source
