Is the Government Responsible For Cyber Security as Per Law

The government plays a significant role in promoting and protecting cyber security, but it is not solely responsible for it. Cyber security is a shared responsibility, and both the public and private sector have a role to play in protecting against cyber threats.

In general, the government is responsible for setting the legal and regulatory framework for cyber security, providing funding and resources for research and development, and working with private sector organizations to develop and implement strong cyber security measures.

However, individual organizations and individuals also have a responsibility to protect themselves and their systems from cyber threats. This includes implementing strong passwords and authentication measures, keeping software and systems up to date, and educating employees about safe online practices.
